Jimmy Britt Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is a family-owned and operated company dedicated to our employees and customers. We are in immediate need of a Detailer who is reliable; meticulous, and able to manage a team of auto detailers at a fast-paced, customer-centric Stellantis dealership. We offer all the tools needed to become more successful in this role. Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of auto detailers while maintaining their work schedules and throughput.
• Oversee the cleaning, washing, and preparation of all new and used vehicle inventory.
• Inspect the quality of work by your team, ensuring all vehicles are either lot ready or prepared for delivery.
• Understand how to clean, wash, prep, wax, buff, and detail automobiles.
• Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
• Clean engine and engine compartment with various cleaning agents.
• Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation and communicate with management.
• Restore appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces..
• Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Assist in maintaining showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times

• Experience with the proper tools and techniques used in automotive detailing
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience overseeing/managing a team of others
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass pre-employment background screenings
• Valid driver's license

• Delivers 180-200+ units per month
