As a Mazevo barista, you will have the chance to represent our business by providing excellent customer service while offering our delicious products. You'll work in a bustling and energetic atmosphere where you can hone your food and beverage skills, collaborate with friends, and meet new people daily. We think our baristas can improve every customer's day with only a smile and coffee. Mazevo Coffee exists to Love One Another, one cup at a time.

Responsibilities

• You will be preparing coffee drinks and food for customers while creating a friendly and hospitable atmosphere.
• Greet all customers with a friendly smile; provide friendly, efficient, and personal service to each customer.
• Take food and drink orders; understand the food and beverage menu to provide the best possible description and execution of menu items to your guests
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the coffee preparation process, including specialty drinks
• Accurately and efficiently enter orders into the POS system
• Clear and reset counters and tables after each guest visit
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures

• You like interacting with others and consider yourself a “people person."

• Are willing to learn new things, especially the newest recipe for a beverage!
• Able to maintain composure in a hectic, high-energy work environment
• Possess outstanding communication abilities
• No prior experience is necessary
• Maintain constant and regular attendance and punctuality, whether or not a suitable accommodation is provided.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include weekends, evenings, early mornings, late nights, and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Engage with and comprehend our customers, including learning about their demands and meeting them through amiable and transparent communication
• Rapid learning ability
• Being able to follow oral and written directions, understand them, and ask for clarification when necessary
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• The capacity to cooperate in a group and form relationships

• Pay between $14.00 and $20.00 per hour when your tips are factored in .
• The base wage is between $10.55 and $11.55 per hour , depending on experience.
