Job Title: Field Operator III – Pipeline Operator
Location: Coyanosa, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5/2 | 40 hrs./week | Overtime approved | 7:00 am – 3:30 pm | Rotational on-call schedule
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Field Operator III to operate and maintain wells, equipment, and pipelines while ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role involves daily operations, preventive maintenance, pipeline system oversight, and active participation in safety programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive
pipeline operations experience, be familiar with
DOT pipeline regulations , and possess strong knowledge of flow operations, LOTO procedures, and high-pressure gas systems.
Key Responsibilities - Implement daily work objectives, safety, housekeeping, environmental, and security practices
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and regular safety meetings
- Monitor and optimize well and equipment performance through continuous surveillance
- Function as an Equipment Care Technician and perform routine maintenance activities
- Coordinate, control, and monitor corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance jobs
- Maintain accurate operational logs and report abnormal conditions or deviations
- Take product samples for lab analysis and perform field tests
- Respond to and participate in emergency situations
- Provide well diagnostics and prepare for Wellwork intervention operations
- Maintain wellhead and surface equipment in proper working condition
- Assist and support ongoing Wellwork and pipeline operations
- Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and operate high-pressure gas systems safely
- Ensure good communication across the work team to address operational issues
Required Skills & Qualifications - Completed secondary education with prior experience as a Field Technician
- Extensive knowledge of pipeline operations and DOT pipeline regulations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High standard of safety, health, and environmental practices
- Familiarity with flow operations, LOTO, high-pressure gas, and operational safety procedures
- Knowledge of emergency preparedness and safety management tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products for reporting and documentation
- Ability to interpret and follow project design specifications and relevant regulations
