Description At Amazon, we are building a world class last mile operation with Amazon Flex as a cornerstone of this strategy. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors, called delivery partners, to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, delivery partners are their own boss, build their own schedule, and choose from different types of delivery opportunities (e.g. Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market, and Amazon Logistics). Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in sync with our advanced systems and processes, allowing delivery partners to secure delivery offers, track their delivery progress, and more. The ideal candidate thrives in an ambiguous environment, is a business owner who understands the key levers to drive high performance, and can operationalize and scale those levers. They dive deep, using excellent analytical and problem solving skills to identify root causes and develop action plans. The ideal candidate also communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders across various levels in the organization, building strong relationships based on collaboration and trust. The ideal candidate also has the ability to stay focused when working autonomously. Our team is currently field by design. PMs will work from an Amazon corporate office or field location daily (5 days a week). Travel may be required up to 50% of the time. Key job responsibilities - Own the business UTR input/output metrics and driver experience for your area - Collaborate with stakeholders to build action plans to improve Flex performance and act as a point of escalation for issues, questions, and concerns - Identify, develop, and implement processes and mechanisms to improve Flex program performance, including working cross-functionally with internal teams to support the continuous improvement of tools and processes - Build, own, and drive the end to end roadmap for improvement programs in area of ownership. - Exercise excellent business judgement while deep diving input metrics to proactively identify, action, and advise, to improve delivery partner experience, and meet goals - Innovate and simplify processes across businesses while maintaining the highest quality standards for our customers - Identify operational excellence and cost-reduction improvement opportunities and lead related work-streams for DP UTR experience. This includes building and owning a roadmap, managing cross functional partners, and driving peer teams to work with speed to anticipate and clear blockers - Work on long-term initiatives focused on driving business agnostic or assigned business area improvements to the in-station Flex App experience to drive efficiency in DP pick up processes A day in the life The FISX team, is responsible for the critical pillar of F1 Pitstop. F1P is a long-term program that aims to transform the Flex pick-up experience through a combination of technological and operational enhancements, with a focus on improved efficiency, speed, and cost optimization. Changes will be driven by incremental, process-focused improvements over time. Significant cross-functional partnership, priority negotiation, and resource alignment across teams will be critical for success. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
