Job Title: Outside Winery Representative – Costco Roadshow

Location: Various Costco Locations (Northern California)

Type: Part-Time / Contract

About Us:

Ty Caton Vineyards is a family-owned winery located in Sonoma Valley’s Moon Mountain District, known for producing bold, estate-grown wines with a strong sense of place. We are looking for a personable, reliable, and wine-savvy representative to help introduce our wines to new audiences through Costco’s Roadshow program.
Position Overview:

As an Outside Winery Representative, you will be the face of Ty Caton Vineyards at designated Costco Roadshow booths. Your role is to engage with customers, provide education about our winery and estate-grown wines, and help build brand awareness. While you won’t be conducting tastings or selling wine directly, your presence and ability to communicate our story are essential to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent Ty Caton Vineyards at Costco Roadshow events in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner

Educate Costco shoppers about our winery, estate vineyards, and wines available in-store

Answer customer questions and guide them toward the Ty Caton selections featured at the location

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing demo booth

Set up and break down booth materials daily

Provide feedback to the winery team and share observations from each location

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor

Ability to quickly learn and communicate key facts about Ty Caton Vineyards and our wines

Must be 21+

Prior experience in wine, retail, or promotional work is a plus

Access to reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Compensation:
Hourly rate based on experience

Mileage reimbursement

Winery training and support provided
