Job Summary

Homeland is hiring a People Experience Business Partner to join our client's team for a 6-month contract. In this strategic HR role, you will align business goals with employee and leadership needs, support leaders on people matters, drive organizational change, and champion the employee experience. Responsibilities include workforce planning, HR data analysis, performance management, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

The role may involve international work and requires strong business acumen, including an understanding of financials, strategy, culture, and the competitive landscape. Ideal candidates are experienced HR professionals who are proactive, communicative, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaboration, empathy, and adaptability are key.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management
  • Champion a positive employee experience across the employee lifecycle
  • Drive initiatives that enhance engagement, inclusion, and well-being
  • Lead and support change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and employee adoption
  • Act as a change agent to foster a culture of agility and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Learning & Development to identify growth opportunities and career pathways
  • Support leadership development and succession planning efforts
  • Guide performance management processes to drive accountability and high performance
  • Promote a culture aligned with company values and business objectives
  • Use people analytics to inform decisions and measure the impact of HR initiatives
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the business unit’s strategy, financials, and competitive landscape
  • Translate business needs into people strategies that drive results
  • Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, DEI) to deliver integrated solutions
  • Support global HR initiatives and ensure alignment across regions, where applicable
  • Address complex employee relations issues with fairness and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
  • Monitor key HR metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a business partner or strategic HR role
  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders and driving people strategies in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Experience working in global or multicultural environments is a plus
  • Deep understanding of HR disciplines including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and change management
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies with business goals
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems and people analytics tools to inform decisions
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices across multiple regions (if applicable)
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and influencing skills
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving initiatives in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change and foster a culture of inclusion and engagement
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach
  • Passionate about enhancing the employee experience and organizational culture

Additional Information

This role offers remote-hybrid or onsite options. Flexibility is essential regarding time zones, as long as the candidate can work during the business's active hours. There is potential for conversion to a full-time position for the right candidate.
